Earlier this year, Juvenaire was appointed to manage the restoration of a commercial business on the Sunshine Coast after a car ploughed through the entrance of the business.
The car entered the shop after the driver put the car into drive rather than in reverse. The driver proceeded to do a 3-point turn inside the damaged store to drive the car out of the rubble. The damage to the building and contents items was excessive and glass shards were sprayed into every corner.
The process began with Juvenaire assessing the damage. Soft contents items affected by glass were deemed non-useable due to the potential dangers of glass remnants. These items were documented to allow for replacement before being thrown away.
Our technicians then began the cleaning of the salvageable contents items. During this process, thousands of glass shards were carefully removed from the hard furnishings and surfaces.
